Wii U Soft Mod

The Wii U is jam packed with some pretty decent specs.

First:Is the IBM CPU. This is a 3 core processor (PowerPC) processor running at 3Ghz. This is very similar to the processor that the Xbox 360 has in it.

The Wii U also features a Bluray disc drive in it. From the research our experts have done this is a modified blu-ray drive that supports up to 25 Gigbyte discs.

This is also an area our hack team is looking into. A lot of times the eeprom on the DVD/Bluray drive can be reflashed. This may be a very simple way to run homebrew on the Wii U and we will be heavily focusing on this proprietary Blu-ray drive.

Depending on the model you chose, (Basic) is an 8GB Flash Wii U console and the (Deluxe) featuring 32GB of Flash Storage.

The Wii U boasts an ATI (AMD) Graphics card. Not too many details have been released on the Radeon GPU in the Wii U but it is believed to be a Radeon HD 5000 Series. The GPU will have no problems flying through the loading screens or playing Blu-ray movies back smoothly.

Another good thing is Nintendo has kept the USB ports and SD card reader which is great for us in the homebrew community.
