That’s pretty cool news. Could it mean anything big for Wii U homebrew stuff? From what I understand, the “Wii” part is completely separate from the “Wii U” part. Does that seem like the case or could some sort of “Wii” homebrew program create a “Wii U” homebrew channel? Kudos to you guys for keeping the site up to date and just being here for all of us who don’t have the skill to hack this thing ourselves.
Thanks Chacha, this is going to lead to some interesting ports for the Wii U. It also opens up a few doors to things we can do to move forward to run homebrew outside of Wii mode. It’s kind of like how the PS3 locked down the GPU when you installed Linux on the PS3
Oh yeah! (And sorry for the double-post. I don’t see an “edit” option.) I was wondering if you guys know what version the Wii of the WiiU is. (4.3u?) There’s no version id or mac address listed anywhere when in Wii mode, it seems. Thanks!
